Application Support Engineer (Tier II) - 100% Remote - Dev Ops & AI Operations

We are currently partnered with a software platform provider that delivers automation as scale. Their focus is empowering branding to capture intent and drive more meaningful conversations with their customers through the utilization of AI and NLP.
We are looking to add a full-time Application Support Engineer (Tier II) to our team. This is a 100% remote role and our next Application Support Engineer will operate at the intersection of app support, Dev Ops, Cloud Ops, and AI assisted Operations. You will be central to helping ensure the reliability, performance, and availability of the production systems. If this sounds like you, please read on!
Responsibilities- Proactive Monitoring & Reliability - Azure Monitor, App Insights, root cause analysis
- Dev Ops & Cloud Operations Support - IaC, Azure Managed Instance, CI/CD
- Automation & AI-Enabled Operations - reliability, scalability, automate repetitive tasks
- Documentation & Communication - leverage AI tools to keep documentation current and accurate, provide feedback to engineering organization
- 5+ years of experience in application support, Dev Ops, SRE, or similar production-facing roles
- Hands-on experience supporting production, customer-facing systems
- Demonstrated experience using AI-assisted tools to improve operational efficiency, troubleshooting, or documentation
- Strong troubleshooting skills across applications, infrastructure, and cloud environments
- Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g., Terraform, ARM, Bicep, or similar) & CI/CD pipelines
- Application configuration and environment management
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Experience using AI-assisted tools to do tasks like: analyze logs, accelerate incident investigation, improve operational documentation
- Competitive Annual Base Salary ($125,000 - $145,000 DOE)
