We are seeking a highly experienced SAP GTS Senior Consultant to lead and support global trade services implementations and optimizations.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in SAP GTS modules, strong business process knowledge, and hands-on experience with full-cycle SAP implementations.
This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, streamline customs processes, and deliver high-quality solutions aligned with business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in full-cycle SAP GTS implementation projects.
- Configure and support SAP GTS modules including:
- Compliance Management:
Sanction party list screening, embargo checks, product classification, legal control (export/import). - Customs Management:
Export/import declarations, inward processing, bonded warehouse, transit/presentation, electronic filing. - Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical designs.
- Configure feeder systems (ECC/S4) including document types and master data settings.
- Collaborate with developers to communicate requirements and ensure successful delivery.
- Monitor and resolve IDOC-related issues.
- Prepare and execute test scripts for system validation.
- Monitor scheduled jobs, troubleshoot issues, and ensure operational efficiency.
- Ensure timely delivery of project milestones and maintain accountability for quality outcomes.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with SAP GTS.
- Experience in at least 1–2 full-cycle SAP implementation projects.
- Strong understanding of global trade processes and SAP GTS technical configurations.
- Experience with ECC/S4 feeder system settings and integration.
- Proficiency in IDOC monitoring and issue resolution.
- Skilled in test script preparation and execution.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within scope.
- Experience with SAP S/4
HANA environments. - Exposure to international trade compliance and customs regulations.
