The Enterprise Services Datacenter & Network Organization designs, implements and operates a state-of-the-art Information Systems Infrastructure serving around 110,000 employees, in over 600 locations across 65 plus countries. We work with the latest and emerging technologies to deliver scalable, high performing, always available infrastructure services around the world. We deliver services that connect, host, virtualize, store, collaborate, integrate, compute and transact business solutions that utilizes cloud first, automation, analytics, “as a Service”, BIG data and software defined.
The Full Stack Engineer to oversee the operational support and architecture of a robust infrastructure, covering datacenters and edge locations s role requires expertise in Linux Server Administration, alongside virtualization technologies such as VMware. This role will focus on enhancing and securing our server environments, including various Linux distributions, troubleshoot performance issues, supporting data center migrations, environmental upgrades, hardware refreshes, and ensuring timely patching and compliance.
Collaborating with business teams to facilitate application rationalization, supporting migrations, upgrades, and the decommissioning of legacy systems.
- Design, deploy, and manage VMware virtualization solutions in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Monitor and enhance virtualization performance and availability.
- Administer, configure, and maintain Linux/Unix operating systems to ensure peak performance and security.
- Diagnose and resolve complex issues related to Linux/Unix systems.
- Collaborate with IT teams to evaluate infrastructure needs and implement best practices.
- Provide expert technical support and guidance during incidents and performance issues.
- Create and maintain thorough documentation of systems, protocols, and best practices.
- Perform and support disaster recovery activities.
- Participate in on-call rotation to provide support for critical systems and resolve incidents as they arise.
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business-Related Discipline.
- At least 10 years of experience in operational support of enterprise server ecosystem.
- At least 5 years of Windows Server, Linux OS (Redhat, Ubuntu) and Virtualization platforms such as VMWare, VXRail, vSAN and NSX, Nutanix.
- At least 3 years of server automation activities or Infrastructure as code (CHEF, Amelia, Power Shell, Cloudinit), GitHUB.
- At least 5 years with Service Now or another formal Service Management platform and/or methodology.
- Experience with Microsoft Windows 2016 and 2019, 2022 and 2025 operating systems.
- Experience with supporting mission critical infrastructure operations.
- Proven track record of designing/deploying public cloud offerings primarily in AWS and Azure.
- Proven track record of driving and leading large-scale architectural or delivery projects throughout an entire business through to completion.
- Exposure to various aspects of architecture practices: business, application, data, security, infrastructure, and governance. Working knowledge of architecture frameworks.
- One or more of the below active hands‑on practice:
- Linux Shell scripting, Microsoft Power Shell, Python, Cloudinit.
- Visual Studio Code: coding.
- Git Hub: versioning and code management.
- Post Man: testing, working with API.
- Excellent leadership communication and executive presence.
