We are seeking an experienced Microsoft 365 Migrator / Messaging Consultant to join our IT consulting practice. This role is responsible for designing, planning, and executing medium to large-scale Microsoft 365 migrations for enterprise clients. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Microsoft Exchange (on-premises and cloud), Active Directory, tenant‑to‑tenant migrations, and Power Shell automation, along with strong client‑facing consulting skills.
You will work closely with our client, project managers, and internal engineering teams to deliver successful migration outcomes while minimizing business disruption.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute Exchange Online, Exchange 2019, and Exchange SE migrations, including hybrid and tenant‑to‑tenant scenarios.
- Design and implement Microsoft 365 migration strategies aligned with customer business and technical requirements.
- Perform Active Directory and Azure AD assessments, remediation, and integration for migration readiness.
- Administer and configure Microsoft 365 tenants, including Exchange Online, identity, and core services.
- Utilize Microsoft native migration tools and third‑party solutions (e.g., Bit Titan, Quest) to deliver successful migrations.
- Develop and maintain Power Shell scripts to automate migration tasks, reporting, and validation.
- Provide technical leadership during migration projects, including troubleshooting complex issues.
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to ensure timelines, scope, and deliverables are met.
- Produce technical documentation, runbooks, and migration reports.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, offering best practices and post‑migration recommendations.
- 5–10 years of experience with Microsoft Exchange, including Exchange Online, Exchange 2019, and Exchange SE.
- 5–10 years of experience performing medium to large‑scale hybrid and tenant‑to‑tenant migrations.
- 5–10 years of experience administering Active Directory in complex enterprise environments.
- 5–10 years of experience using Microsoft native migration tools and third‑party tools such as Bit Titan and Quest.
- 5–10 years of experience with Microsoft 365 tenant administration.
- 5–10 years of experience developing and maintaining Power Shell scripts for automation and migrations.
- 5–10 years of experience migrating One Drive, SharePoint, and Microsoft Teams using tools such as Quest and Share Gate.
- 5–10 years of experience implementing Microsoft Defender for M365, Conditional Access policies, and M365 security and compliance controls.
- Experience working in a consulting or professional services environment.
- Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 security, identity, and governance best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong customer‑facing and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and lead technical work streams.
- Proven problem‑solving and analytical skills.
- Comfortable working on multiple client engagements simultaneously.
