As the Director of IT, S/4

HANA Delivery for Honeywell Aerospace Technologies, you will lead a global team responsible for driving the architecture, delivery, and process enablement supporting Honeywell’s enterprise‑wide S/4

HANA transformation. Your leadership will be central to delivering a cohesive and scalable IT landscape that underpins Honeywell Aerospace’s growth strategy and operational excellence. This is a high‑impact role that requires a proven transformation leader capable of aligning technology delivery, data, and process integration across a complex business ecosystem. You will report directly to our VP of Lead to Cash and S4 Transformation, and you’ll work out of one of our Phoenix, AZ, or Charlote, NC locations on a hybrid work schedule.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and mentor global technology teams across architecture, process enablement, and analytics to ensure successful delivery of S/4

    HANA programs and integrations.
  • Oversee end‑to‑end delivery, ensuring all S/4 releases, integrations, and deployments meet quality, cost, and schedule expectations.
  • Partner with cross‑functional business and IT leaders to align technology strategy with business transformation goals and Aerospace & Defense industry standards.
  • Drive integration across ERP, CRM, CPQ, PLM, MES, and data platforms to enable a unified digital ecosystem.
  • Implement delivery frameworks and KPIs that track progress, manage risk, and measure value realization.
  • Promote the use of analytics, automation, and AI‑driven insights to enable proactive decision‑making and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with IT governance, cybersecurity, and audit frameworks, maintaining operational integrity across systems and processes.
  • Foster a “One Team” culture emphasizing collaboration, accountability, and innovation.

Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • 8 or more years of progressive experience in IT program delivery, ERP transformation, or enterprise architecture roles.
  • 5 or more years of direct experience leading S/4

    HANA (or equivalent ERP) transformation programs within large, complex, global organizations.
  • Deep understanding of integration architectures, middleware, and data governance in multi‑system environments.
  • Proven ability to lead large‑scale, multi‑year programs with measurable business outcomes.
  • Deep functional and technical understanding of SAP S/4

    HANA, including core modules (OTC, P2P, RTR, Plan to Produce, SCM) and integration with adjacent platforms.
  • Experience with the core S4 functional areas – Advanced Financial Management, Spend Management, Supply Chain Management, Human Capital Management, Sales Cloud CRM along with SAP Cloud.
  • Demonstrated success in cross‑functional stakeholder management, influencing senior executives, and driving strategic alignment.
  • Strong knowledge of program governance, delivery excellence, and risk management frameworks.
  • Experience applying analytics and performance management tools to monitor delivery progress and enable data‑driven decisions.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management skills to drive enterprise adoption and cultural alignment.
We Value
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field.
  • 10 or more years of experience in IT and business process management.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to leverage data for decision‑making.
  • Experience leading diverse teams and fostering an inclusive work environment.
