Seeking a contract Web Developer to support updates and accessibility improvements for the platform. The primary focus of this role is bringing the agency website into WCAG 2.2 A and AA compliance using Acquia Optimize and the existing custom CMS.
Working under the Assistant Director of IT and Deputy Assistant Director of Communications, Research and Marketing, the contractor will identify and resolve accessibility issues, fix broken links and images, implement CMS updates, and coordinate with Tyler Technologies on items requiring vendor support. The contractor will also monitor ongoing accessibility performance and verify functionality following website releases.

- Backend and API integration experience (Node.js, SQL, etc.)

- Web performance optimization
- Security best practices
This role requires strong attention to detail, experience with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2), and the ability to collaborate across technical and content teams.
