Lead Digital & Product Designer

Position Overview

Mattur is seeking a senior, hands‑on Lead Digital + Product Designer to own day‑to‑day design execution across web and mobile UX/UI, decks and collateral, motion graphics, and print—with a strong expectation to leverage modern AI tools and automation to materially increase team output and speed over time.

This role combines high‑quality execution with system‑building. You’ll create the templates, components, reusable motion packages, and repeatable workflows that reduce cycle time and scale output while maintaining a consistent, enterprise‑credible standard. You’ll use AI to accelerate ideation, generate variants, streamline production tasks, and automate repeatable work—while keeping human‑level taste, consistency, and quality control.

This role will also support the engineering team with product design for operator and IoT experiences, including control layouts, UI flows, and system status communication. You will work closely with the GTM team and engineering stakeholders to ensure Mattur’s customer‑facing design is clear, consistent, and credible—translating technical capabilities into visual systems that support real buying conversations and real product usage across digital, physical, and product surfaces.

• Design and iterate web and mobile experiences that prioritize clarity, usability, and credibility, using AI to accelerate exploration, variants, and refinement.
• Produce wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and UI specifications suitable for engineering handoff; use AI to speed drafting and documentation, then validate rigorously.
• Maintain consistent UX patterns and reusable components across the site and key digital experiences; use AI‑assisted checks to reduce drift and enforce standards.
• Support basic CMS and front‑end updates as needed (design‑led execution; development is not the core of the role) and automate repeatable publishing steps where practical.
• Own the visual standard for sales, investor, and internal materials: decks, one‑pagers, spec sheets, diagrams, and performance visuals, with speed and reuse in mind.
• Translate complex technical information into simple, customer‑facing visuals and layouts; use AI to accelerate simplification, diagram iteration, and layout options.
• Build and maintain templates and lightweight design systems that scale output and reduce rework, establishing repeatable workflows for common requests.
• Deliver print‑ready assets and production files for external vendors (formatting, sizing, production readiness) and automate resizing/export/versioning where feasible.

• Create motion assets for web, social, and event environments: short loops, overlays, animated diagrams, and transitions; use AI to accelerate iterations, captioning, resizing, and packaging.
• Support video and photo contractors with design outputs (frames, graphics packages, titles, layout standards) and build reusable systems (lower‑thirds, overlays) that reduce per‑asset effort.
• Maintain consistency across digital media surfaces and establish repeatable workflows for turning raw footage and photos into publish‑ready outputs quickly.
• Provide lightweight photo and video capture in the field or facility as needed (documentation‑quality), with AI‑assisted cleanup and packaging for downstream use.
• Support product and UX design for operator‑facing experiences, including IoT applications and control layouts; use AI to accelerate flow mapping and state enumeration, then refine with engineering constraints.
• Create clear UI structure for monitoring, configuration, alerts, and system status communication—optimized for fast comprehension and reliable operation.
• Collaborate with engineering to ensure designs reflect real constraints and ship cleanly; deliver handoff‑ready artifacts that reduce ambiguity and rework.
