Position OverviewThe City of Phoenix Water Services Department Technology Services Division is seeking a skilled Power Apps Developer to deliver innovative, data-driven business solutions. This role focuses on building impactful applications, automating workflows, and supporting digital transformation initiatives.
Core Responsibilities- Develop and customize applications using Power Apps (Canvas & Model-Driven)
- Design data-driven solutions leveraging Dataverse, SQL, SharePoint, and relational databases
- Create automated workflows using Power Automate
- Design responsive and user-friendly UI/UX for web and mobile
- Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements
- Ensure governance, security, and compliance standards are met
- Strong experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse)
- Strong SQL, SharePoint, and data modeling skills
- Experience working in Agile environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience integrating multiple data sources
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications
- 3–5 years of Power Apps development, integration, and automation experience
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or Oracle Analytics
