EPIC Project Manager

Job Description:

Requirement/Must Have:

• Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
• 5 8 years of project management experience within the healthcare industry.
• Proven experience managing complex projects involving Epic EHR and third-party application integrations.
• Strong understanding of healthcare IT standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Extensive knowledge of technical design.
• Exceptional leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.

• Leading healthcare IT project life cycles from design through delivery.
• Managing vendor and customer coordination for technical design initiatives.
• Supporting infrastructure and cybersecurity resource alignment.
• Driving design sprint execution and delivery timelines.

• Oversee and facilitate design sprint sessions for Epic implementation initiatives.
• Coordinate two-session design sprints conducted over a two-week period.
• Collaborate with IT engineering, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendors, and customer teams to ensure all required resources are aligned.
• Ensure design sessions result in finalized technical solutions enabling immediate build activities.
• Manage schedules to accommodate vendor and customer availability.
• Track progress, risks, and dependencies across concurrent projects.
• Provide project updates, documentation, and status reporting to stakeholders.
• Support transition from design completion into build execution.

• Project Management Professional certification or equivalent.
• Experience working with third-party healthcare application integrations.
