Akkodis is seeking a Developer for a Contract with a client in Phoenix, AZ. Candidate must have strong expertise in data governance with deep capability in record retention, deletion policies, and data quality management to be considered for this role.
Rate Range: $41/hour to $53/hour;
The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Responsibilities
- Identifying data‑related risks across record retention, deletion policies, data quality, and data movement, and driving remediation efforts.
- Monitoring platform‑level data quality, tracking issues, and coordinating resolution across business, product, and technology teams.
- Performing root‑cause analysis on data quality problems and implementing corrective actions to meet regulatory and audit requirements.
- Collaborating with product managers to ensure new use cases align with enterprise data governance policies.
- Supporting regulatory reporting needs by working with upstream data providers and downstream business partners.
- Contributing to improvements in data assessment processes, analytical tools, and overall data compliance roadmaps.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, data management, or a related technical field.
- 2–5 years of experience in data quality management and prior hands‑on exposure to data governance practices.
- Candidate must have strong capability in record retention and deletion policies with solid understanding of metadata, lineage, and data stewardship concepts.
- Candidate must have intermediate proficiency in SQL/Python and familiarity with data architecture or data modeling to support governance and compliance activities.

Pay Details$41.00 to $53.00 per hour
