Position Summary
The Manager, Business & Market Analytics leads the strategy, development, and execution of enterprise-wide analytics capabilities across business performance, market intelligence, customer insights, and pricing optimization. This role enables data-driven decision-making by delivering actionable insights that improve revenue performance, identify growth opportunities, and strengthen competitive positioning.
Partnering closely with Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing leadership, the Manager builds and leads a high-performing analytics function that transforms complex data into strategic recommendations. This role ensures the organization gains sustainable competitive advantage through advanced analytics, market intelligence, and scalable reporting frameworks.
Principal ResponsibilitiesLead the design and execution of advanced analytical models to uncover market trends, customer behaviors, pricing opportunities, and competitive positioning insights.
Translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for senior and executive leadership.
Partner with business leaders to convert strategic challenges into defined analytics use cases and measurable solutions.
Proactively identify emerging market trends, competitive risks, and revenue opportunities through rigorous analysis and market intelligence.
Develop scalable analytics frameworks, dashboards, and KPI reporting to support Revenue Management, Sales, and Marketing teams.
Create innovative tools and methodologies for forecasting, modeling, and data visualization.
Collaborate with Data Science teams to leverage predictive modeling, machine learning, and AI-driven insights to support business strategies.
Communicate analytical insights in a consultative manner tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Establish and uphold data governance standards in partnership with enterprise data teams to ensure data quality, consistency, and reliability.
Lead cross-functional analytics initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and resource plans.
Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team, fostering technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Monitor team performance, drive capability development, and ensure service levels consistently meet or exceed expectations.
Perform additional job-related responsibilities as required.
Strong business acumen with exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to translate complex analytical findings into strategic business insights.
Advanced proficiency in analytics and programming tools such as SQL, Python, R, or similar.
Demonstrated expertise in data visualization platforms such as Tableau, Power BI
, or comparable tools.Experience working in cross-functional and consultative environments with executive stakeholders.
Master’s degree in an analytical field, MBA, or equivalent experience preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Finance, Engineering, or a related analytical field.
5+ years of experience in business analytics, market analytics, or similar roles with proven impact on business strategy.
Experience working directly with executive leadership in a consultative capacity.
Experience with in subscription-based or recurring revenue business models preferred.
