Job Description- Perform technical diagnosis and repair of defective hardware, including break‑fix support, advice, and assistance for end‑user digital assets.
- Correct problems associated with device failure or maintenance.
- Diagnose and resolve issues related to operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Update asset inventories when equipment or software changes occur.
- Educate users on self‑help opportunities to resolve issues independently when applicable.
- Provide refresh support as per established schedules and proactive management tools until devices are directly shipped to end users.
- Coordinate and execute device and peripheral repair or replacement when remote support is unable to resolve issues, including software installation, data reloading, configuration, testing, and user acceptance.
- Perform and coordinate data harvesting for e‑litigation proceedings according to client policy.
- Set up security, file access, and other administrative procedures.
- Support device lifecycle activities by securely storing devices containing client data and wiping user data from returned devices after confirmation.
- Coordinate receipt of computing equipment and parts for the site.
- Perform on‑site tape management and interact with off‑site storage providers to ensure timely backup transfers.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including stockroom and desk areas, with special attention to IDF, MDF, and ITC areas.
- Ensure maintenance of standards in IDF and MDF areas.
- Provide onboarding support at client sites.
- Manage onsite toner supplies and replace toner cartridges for Ricoh devices.
- Ensure adequate toner stock levels to meet operational requirements.
- Provide Smart Hands support to guide or assist remote technicians during maintenance or troubleshooting activities, including physical assistance, access facilitation, and communication support.
- Provide Level 2 support for meeting room and audio‑visual services when third‑party vendors are unavailable.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for hardware, operating systems, applications, and network connectivity.
- Experience with asset management and inventory updates.
- Experience supporting device lifecycle and data security procedures.
- Ability to provide Smart Hands support and coordinate with remote teams.
- Experience supporting meeting room and audio‑visual technologies.
- Hardware break‑fix and repair.
- Operating system and application support.
- Network connectivity troubleshooting.
- Asset and inventory management.
- Data handling and security compliance.
