Help Desk Support Technician

San Trac Technologies is a highly innovative Information Technology, VOIP Telephone and Low Voltage Solutions provider. We are looking for a highly motivated and skilled individual to fill our Help Desk Support Technician position.

The successful applicant will play a major role in helping the company provide customers with excellent technical support and complete assigned projects.

Starting Salary $19‑20.00 Per Hour

Technical Skills
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Desktop Operating systems (Windows 10, 11)
  • Active Directory (Account Creation, Termination, password resets)
  • Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Creating email account for O365 and Exchange online environment
  • Configure VPN client software for remote users
  • Supporting hosted VOIP systems by making changes per customer request
  • Provide remote and onsite support to our clients using industry standard remote connections, internal ticketing system, monitoring consoles and more
  • Perform preventative maintenance on a set schedule
  • Troubleshooting and hardware repair of client’s desktop computers
  • Configure VoIP equipment for deployment
  • Assist on network upgrade projects
  • Excellent self‑motivational, organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate to both business and technical individuals
Requirements
  • (CompTIA) A+ certification
  • Readiness to travel locally/Ability to travel to customer location
  • Pass a Drug & Background Check
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Knowledge of PC/laptop repair, printer repair and local area networks
  • Ability to lift or move various computer equipment
  • Able to work mornings, evenings and weekends
