Overview

The Digital Tools Enablement Specialist is an individual contributor responsible for increasing awareness, adoption, and effective use of digital tools across the organization. This role focuses on hands‑on enablement, including user training, user groups, webinars, and day‑to‑day support for tools such as Copilot, Agents, Microsoft Teams, Power Automate, Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, and One Drive.

The specialist also monitors usage and adoption metrics, identifies opportunities to improve utilization, and ensures digital tools are used consistently, securely, and in alignment with established standards in partnership with Switch Think partners.

Responsibilities
  • Support day‑to‑day adoption of digital tools such as Copilot, Agents, Teams, Power Automate, Forms, SharePoint, Lists, and One Drive.
  • Organize and facilitate user groups, training sessions, webinars, lunch‑and‑learns, and product demos in partnership with Switch Think.
  • Understand business needs and provide practical guidance to end users on how to use Microsoft tools effectively in daily work.
  • Collaborate with Switch Think partners to solve business needs.
  • Create and maintain how‑to guides, FAQs, use cases, and best‑practice documentation.
  • Serve as a functional point of contact for user questions related to digital tools capabilities and usage.
  • Identify simple workflow and process improvement opportunities.
  • Support testing, documentation, and rollout of approved solutions.
  • Encourage reuse of proven use cases.
  • Create governance in partnership with Switch Think for user group communities to implement best practices across the organization.
  • Monitor usage and adoption metrics across tools and user populations.
  • Track adoption trends, tool utilization, and engagement from training activities.
  • Partner with Switch Think to maintain visibility into tool usage.
  • Provide regular usage summaries and insights to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Follow established governance, security, and compliance guidelines.
  • Partner with Switch Think and business teams to support responsible tool usage.
  • Help reinforce standards, documentation, and lifecycle management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Information Systems, or related field (preferred) and equivalent combination of education and experience (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience with Microsoft tools in a support, enablement, or business operations role (required).
  • Minimum 2 years of experience delivering training sessions, webinars, or user support (required).
  • At least 1 year of practical experience using Teams, Power Automate, Forms, SharePoint, and One Drive (required).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Copilot and AI Agents (required).
  • Experience working in a highly collaborative, cross‑functional environment (required).
  • Experience working with usage data, dashboards, or basic reporting (required).
  • Proficiency across Microsoft 365 suite (Teams, SharePoint, One Drive, Forms, Lists).
  • Power Automate – ability to build and support low‑code/no‑code workflows.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 Admin Center and usage/adoption reporting.
  • Basic understanding of governance, compliance, and security standards within M365.
  • Facilitation skills for user groups, webinars, lunch‑and‑learns, and live demos.
  • Ability to translate technical capabilities into practical, business‑relevant guidance.
  • Documentation skills for how‑to guides, FAQs, use cases, and best‑practice content.
  • Ability to assess user skill levels and tailor training accordingly.
  • Analytical and reporting skills: monitor and interpret usage metrics, create adoption summaries, and present insights to stakeholders via dashboards or basic reporting.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts simply.
  • Cross‑functional collaboration with business users, Switch Think IT, and governance partners.
  • Comfortable serving as a day‑to‑day point of contact and trusted resource.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously (training calendar, documentation, reporting, automation support).
  • Self‑directed, able to prioritize independently as an individual contributor.
  • Detail‑oriented for documentation, lifecycle management, and governance tracking.
  • Microsoft tools certifications (preferred).
Preferred
  • High School or better.
