SAP EWM Architect (S/4
HANA + MM)
Location: Remote (Travel to Phoenix, AZ required)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP EWM Architect with strong expertise in S/4
HANA and MM integration. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and delivering end-to-end warehouse management solutions, leading workshops, and driving strategic initiatives across SAP EWM implementations.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Design & Delivery
- Conduct business process analysis and gather requirements through stakeholder workshops
- Design end-to-end SAP EWM solutions aligned with business goals and architecture standards
- Develop solution blueprints and functional specifications (WRICEF)
- Ensure scalable and efficient warehouse management solutions
- Perform hands-on configuration of core EWM functionalities:
- Inbound & outbound processing
- Storage control
- RF framework
- Work on advanced EWM features:
- Labor Management
- Yard Management
- Value-Added Services (VAS)
- Slotting
- Integrate EWM with SAP modules:
- S/4
HANA, MM, SD, QM, PP, TM
- S/4
- Configure interfaces with 3PL/4PL systems and external tools
- Provide strategic guidance on SAP EWM best practices
- Act as escalation point for complex technical issues
- Mentor junior consultants and support teams
- Drive change management and ensure smooth adoption
- Strong experience in SAP EWM architecture and implementation
- Hands-on expertise in S/4
HANA and MM integration - Experience in end-to-end solution design and delivery
- Strong knowledge of WRICEF objects and system integrations
- Experience with warehouse automation and third-party integrations
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Experience with advanced EWM functionalities (Labor, Yard, VAS, Slotting)
- Exposure to 3PL/4PL integrations
- Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
- 10+ years of SAP experience with strong focus on EWM
- Proven experience as an SAP EWM Architect / Lead
- Remote role with travel to Phoenix, AZ
- Travel expenses will be covered
- Strong focus on architecture, design, and leadership
