Senior Manager, Provider Strategy

About the Role

You will drive the strategy and end-to-end implementation of programming focused on optimizing the provider experience. You will collaborate cross-functionally and partner closely with internal teams to manage complex project plans and deliver impactful outcomes. You will leverage data to build compelling narratives and make informed decisions, solve end-to-end challenges, and bring a strong ownership attitude to achieving team goals. You will report into the Director, Strategic Planning.

This position is based in our Tempe, Arizona office, requiring a hybrid work schedule with 3 days of in‑office work per week. Thursdays are a required in‑office day for team meetings and events, while your other two office days are flexible to suit your schedule.

The base pay for this role is: $134,136 - $176,053 per year. You are also eligible for employee benefits, participation in Oscar's unlimited vacation program and annual performance bonuses.

• Help achieve and execute the strategy for department-specific programs
• Manage important cross‑functional projects from definition to delivery, including project plan creation, stakeholder engagement, and post‑launch iteration.
• Define success criteria and use data fluency to analyze performance, own root‑cause analysis, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Evaluate existing workflows to identify gaps and build operating plans that improve department projects.
• Improve consensus and align with leadership on overarching needs, building complex projects.
• Help grow direct reports (as applicable) and provide mentorship to promote colleagues' professional development.
• Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
• Other duties as assigned

• 6+ years experience in strategy and operations.
• Healthcare experience (Health Insurance, Health Systems, or Healthcare Consulting)
• 4+ years of experience in product management and program management.

• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements in programs
• Successfully executed enterprise‑wide initiatives: defined project plans, coordinated resources, managed implementation activities, and developed all processes associated with program rollout and ongoing support
• Comfort and experience working with technology stakeholders to ideate and leverage tech solutions to drive business value
• Knowledge of U.S. health insurance business models and dynamics, especially related to initiatives targeting the provider experience
• Master’s Degree
• PMP Certifications or Program Management Certifications
