40 hours/week, 8:00–5:00 pm
Salary: $226,782 to $236,900 per year

• Work with senior management and other scientists on key business problems in cloud computing and operations.
• Utilize advanced economics and time‑series econometrics to develop formal models that understand the past and present, predict future outcomes, and identify risks and opportunities.
• Build econometric models of dynamic systems using Bayesian time‑series statistical methods and leverage big data tools.
• Develop and implement statistical models for risk assessment and capacity management in cloud infrastructure.
• Formalize problems using rigorous science to solve business issues.

• Ph.D. in Economics or a related field and five years of research or work experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• Five years of experience in time‑series forecasting and Bayesian econometrics, panel data, and high‑dimensional problems.
• One year of experience in programming with Python, MATLAB, R, SAS, or Stata, and in using data tools such as AWS S3 and Redshift.
• Domestic and/or international travel up to 25% may be required.
