Senior Data & AI Architect

We are looking for a senior-level Principal Architect to lead the design and evolution of enterprise data and AI platforms. This role focuses on building scalable, production-ready systems that power analytics, intelligent applications, and integrations. Success in this position requires a balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution to drive long-term platform reliability and business impact.

• Define and maintain enterprise data architecture across applications, analytics, and AI-driven systems
• Establish standardized data models to ensure consistency across operational and analytical environments
• Design, implement, and govern AI/ML systems, including modern LLM-based solutions and automation workflows
• Evaluate and guide data integration strategies, including third-party and external data sources
• Develop and enforce architecture standards, review processes, and best practices across teams
• Lead proof-of-concept initiatives to validate new technologies and architectural approaches
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align platform capabilities with business goals
• Ensure systems meet requirements for scalability, performance, security, and compliance

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, data architecture, or systems design with hands-on delivery experience
• Strong expertise in data modeling, database design, and distributed data systems
• Experience building and scaling data platforms, including batch and real-time processing pipelines
• Practical experience deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments, including LLM-related technologies (e.g., embeddings, vector databases)
• Proficiency with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern data tools (e.g., data warehouses/lakes)
• Experience working within regulated environments with an understanding of data governance and security considerations
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in a principal or lead architecture role within a high-growth or evolving organization
• Background working with financial, transactional, or highly regulated data systems
• Familiarity with AI governance, model lifecycle management, or responsible AI practices
