Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer with expertise in COBOL, JCL, and IMS DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mainframe application development, database administration, and system optimization.

Experience with IMS DC and CICS is a plus.a

Key Responsibilities:

* Develop, enhance, and maintain mainframe applications using COBOL and JCL.

* Perform IMS database administration tasks, including performance tuning, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

* Design and implement batch processing solutions.

* Ensure data integrity, backup, and recovery processes for IMS databases.

* Work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements and develop effective solutions.

* Monitor system performance and optimize mainframe applications for efficiency.

* Provide support for incident resolution and problem management.

* Document system configurations, workflows, and technical procedures.

Required

Skills & Experience:

* Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, and IMS DBA.

* Expertise in mainframe database administration, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.

* Knowledge of mainframe utilities and debugging tools.

* Ability to write and optimize complex JCL scripts.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Good to Have:

* Experience with IMS DC and CICS for transaction processing.

* Exposure to modern mainframe tools and technologies.

Education &

Certifications:



* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (preferred).

* Relevant certifications in Mainframe or IMS DBA (a plus)
