Contract $20/hr - $25/hr
This role offers hands‑on experience in a data center environment. No prior data‑center experience is required. It’s an ideal opportunity for individuals from customer‑service, construction, or other hands‑on fields who want to launch a career in IT.
Contract InformationContract Duration: 6-8 months
Key Responsibilities- Physically work with servers and related equipment.
- Assist with upgrades, replacements, and general hardware support tasks as part of a larger technical team.
- Handle, install, and replace hardware components in a data‑center environment.
- Follow step‑by‑step procedures to complete tasks safely and accurately.
- Participate in daily hands‑on operations within the data center.
- Interest in technology, IT, or infrastructure work.
- Comfortable working with hands and around hardware (servers, cables, racks, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Dependable, professional, and eager to learn.
- CompTIA A+ or similar entry‑level IT certifications.
- 1-2 years in a hands‑on role (customer service, help desk, warehouse, construction, etc.).
- Familiarity with basic computer hardware (CPU, memory, storage, etc.) is a big plus.
