Database Operations Engineer

Overview

Innova Solutions is partnering with a client that is actively seeking to hire a Database Operations Engineer for an immediate opening.

Job Title: Database Operations Engineer

Location: Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote — Phoenix, AZ;
Charlotte, NC; or Irving, TX

Duration: 12 months

Employment type: Full-time/Contract on W2

• Build and configure database clusters (including AWS environments)
• Install and configure Mongo
  
  DB and Postgre
  
  SQL clusters
• Execute and troubleshoot Python-based build scripts
• Diagnose and resolve cluster build failures
• Fix configuration issues during setup and deployment
• Provide production support for post-rollout applications
• Participate in a 24/7 production support model
• Drive automation initiatives to reduce manual operational effort
• Improve operational efficiency through scripting and tooling

• Strong hands-on expertise in Mongo
  
  DB and PostgreSQL
• Experience supporting production environments independently
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database and cluster issues
• Comfortable working in a 24/7 global operations model
• Strong hands-on Python scripting
• Proven experience automating manual operational processes

• Exposure to GenAI / Agent
  
  AI concepts
• Yugabyte
  
  DB is good to have but not mandatory
• Experience building automation-driven tooling frameworks

Pay Range: $45/hr - $55/hr

* Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
