Sogeti is seeking a Senior Azure Data Engineer / Data Platform Architect with 10+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise‑scale cloud data solutions. This role will focus on building scalable Azure‑based data platforms, optimizing data pipelines, supporting advanced analytics initiatives, and driving architecture best practices across modern cloud ecosystems. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Azure Data Services, Microsoft Fabric, enterprise data engineering, and cloud‑based analytics solutions.

• Design, develop, and optimize end‑to‑end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) for ingestion, transformation, and orchestration
• Architect and implement enterprise‑scale data warehouse and lakehouse solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Microsoft Fabric
• Develop and optimize Synapse Notebooks using PySpark and Spark SQL for large‑scale data processing and analytics workloads
• Build and manage Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2) environments including data ingestion, governance, security, and storage optimization
• Create and optimize Serverless SQL Pool views and analytical reporting solutions to support enterprise business intelligence initiatives
• Collaborate with stakeholders, BI teams, and data scientists to deliver scalable, secure, and high‑performing cloud data solutions
• Lead technical design reviews, mentor engineering teams, and support CI/CD and Dev Ops practices for automated deployments and platform reliability

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering, cloud data platforms, and enterprise analytics solutions
• Strong hands‑on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, Synapse Notebooks, Azure Data Lake, Serverless SQL Pools, and Microsoft Fabric
• Advanced SQL, Python/PySpark, ETL/ELT, data modeling, and performance optimization experience within modern cloud data environments
• Experience with enterprise data warehousing, lakehouse architectures, data governance, and scalable analytics platforms
• Strong communication, leadership, stakeholder management, and mentorship skills with experience working in Agile/Dev Ops environments

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant Azure certifications such as DP‑203 are preferred.
