Business Data Analyst – Finance, Treasury & Data Analytics

*** Candidates must be located in the greater Phoenix, AZ area***

*** Candidates must go into the office 4 days a week (Downtown Phoenix)***

Sogeti is seeking a Business Data Analyst to support Finance, Treasury, and Data Analytics initiatives by translating complex business requirements into scalable data models, reporting solutions, and actionable insights. This role will partner closely with Finance, Treasury, and IT teams to support enterprise reporting, data governance, and analytics initiatives within a modern cloud data environment.

• Collaborate with Finance and Treasury stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document complex business and reporting requirements
• Translate business needs into scalable analytical models and enterprise reporting solutions
• Design, develop, and support data models, ETL/ELT processes, and data pipelines for Treasury and analytics reporting
• Build and optimize solutions using Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and related cloud data technologies
• Support OLAP reporting and enterprise analytics initiatives while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and performance
• Apply data governance, data quality, metadata management, and data lineage best practices across reporting and analytics platforms
• Partner with cross‑functional business and IT teams to deliver clear, business‑friendly insights and scalable data solutions

• Strong experience with data modeling, T‑SQL, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory, and ETL/ELT pipeline development
• Expertise supporting enterprise reporting, Treasury analytics, OLAP systems, and data governance/data quality initiatives
• Experience with IDMC (Informatica Intelligent Data Management Cloud) or similar enterprise data management tools
• Strong communication and stakeholder collaboration skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business‑friendly solutions
• Exposure to Python, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Databricks, and Power BI is preferred

Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field.
