Job Description

As a Sr Compliance Operations Analyst at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in helping to shape and enhance the technology and data capabilities that underpin the Compliance program supporting the Compliance organization. You will represent the Legal department in major enterprise transformation efforts, including the S/4

HANA transition. You will focus on evaluating AI driven solutions and exploring agentic AI opportunities to streamline compliance operations. You will collaborate with key stakeholders to improve systems, data and analytics, ensuring a single source of truth for compliance-related information.

You will report directly to the Director of Compliance Operations within the Legal Operations function and work out of our Charlotte, NC, Washington, DC, Puerto Rico, Atlanta GA and Phoenix AZ location on a hybrid work schedule. For the first 90 days, new hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F.

The right candidate for this role brings equal fluency in compliance substance and technology execution. They can sit in a room with export controls counsel and IT architects, understand both conversations, and connect them.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver routine upgrades to compliance data systems required by changing compliance and regulatory needs.
  • Support automation of data-driven compliance risk assessments and heatmap initiatives while enhancing existing tools and expanding coverage to new regulatory areas.
  • Partner with the IT Department to oversee implementation, maintenance and improvement of global compliance-related technology tools and systems, ensuring service continuity for critical compliance systems and services.
  • Build expertise in key compliance systems and processes, ensuring to remain up-to-date with regulatory requirements and organizational standards.
  • Stay abreast of advancements in AI and data analytics relevant to compliance, propose innovative solutions and oversee the implementation of AI-driven solutions to enhance global compliance processes and efficiency.
  • Act as a key stakeholder representing Global Compliance in Honeywell’s SAP S/4 Hana / GTS E4H upgrade.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Information Technology related roles.
  • A solid understanding of at least one key regulatory compliance area with the ability and desire to expand knowledge across a broader global compliance operation.
  • Experience with compliance technology solutions, specifically SAP GTS, Third Party Risk Management platforms and a willingness to broaden expertise across critical compliance systems.
  • Familiarity with data and visualization tools, specifically with experience leveraging an enterprise data warehouse and dashboard solutions, particularly Tableau, for analytics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Analytics, International Trade, or a related discipline.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
