IT Specialist; Network​/Infosec

Responsibilities

• Analyze and recommend resolution of complex technical issues.
• Install, test, maintain, and upgrade network operating system software.
• Monitor network capacity and performance and diagnose and resolve network problems.
• Identify and define business or technical requirements for design, development, implementation, management and support of systems and networks.
• Provide advice and guidance on a wide range of complex IT issues.

• One year of specialized experience including:
  • Analyzing complex technical requirements and evaluating emerging IT products to recommend new network solutions.
  • Conducting comprehensive risk and vulnerability assessments on information systems.
  • Administering networked systems by configuring servers, routers, and switches.
  • Utilizing 802.1x (e.g., Cisco Identity Services Engine).
  • Utilizing Software-Defined Access (e.g., Cisco Catalyst Center).

• Subject to suitability or fitness determination following a background investigation.
• Temporary Duty or business travel up to 10% of time.
• Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret SCI security clearance for the duration of employment.
• Drug‑testing designated position requiring urinalysis screening and periodic testing.
• Must meet proficiency level requirements per DoDM Army guidance for Cyber work role (Foundational 9 months; Resident 12 months; Continuous Professional Development).
