Job ResponsibilitiesAccommodate in the stable operation of risk management software to meet the technology needs of the Risk Management department; plan, develop, maintain, provide first‑level technical support and provide resolution for operational system issues.
- Monitor overall functionality of risk management systems. Perform technical administrative tasks on a daily basis to ensure a highly reliable and highly available risk management system; tasks include but are not limited to, making sure claims reports are transferring into the Risk Management Information System (RMIS) from AS400 properly and answering RMIS error related emails.
- Research current system functional errors/issues; perform miscellaneous basic IT functions such as troubleshooting to determine source of malfunction. Provide immediate resolution; collaborate with internal IT department personnel and RMIS vendor representatives when escalating more serious issues. Make recommendations for system improvements in order to improve department efficiency.
- Perform functional modifications within risk management system to enhance system functionality and support overall business and department needs more efficiently; create and modify tabs, fields, form letters, events and notification as requested by management. Assist with implementations of system upgrades and new technology advancements as necessary.
- Respond to internal department requests for various risk management reports; create, run reports and distribute to designated department personnel.
- Complete special projects as requested by management; projects may include, but are not limited to, ensuring checks are printing properly from RMIS and implementing functional changes to the system.
- Monitor and review risk management documents within Documentum system; collaborate with department personnel to determine necessity of existing documents and delete unneeded documents from Documentum.
- Maintain a positive work atmosphere by acting and communicating in a manner which facilitates the success of business operations in order to meet company demands and expectations.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
- Minimum two (2) years in a position/field requiring computer‑based technical skills with at least one (1) year experience working in a Risk Management Information System (STARS RMIS experience preferred). Additional years of required experience or demonstrated high‑level technical skills or college courses may be considered for substitution of RMIS experience. Risk management or claims processing experience required.
- Solid technical skills with the ability to research and resolve problems of a technical nature; advanced knowledge of various computer operations with a strong aptitude for troubleshooting system issues; good analytical and decision‑making skills; good communication skills; basic understanding of claims processing (strong understanding of claims processing preferred).
- Associates degree or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
Pay Range: $50,000.00 – $64,050.00 Annual
