POSITION SUMMARY

This position serves as an entry level position which provides assistance in repairing Diagnostic Imaging equipment and learns how to manage customer relationships through attending classes. Under close supervision incumbents apply lessons learned by assisting in service repair, preventative maintenance, field change orders / installations.

CORE FUNCTIONS

1. As directed, assist in the emergency service call process which includes call assignment and commitment, travel to site, customer interface, troubleshooting and diagnosis, resolution plan and call escalation, if necessary, customer interface and call closure, next service call assignment.

2. Assist in all projects related to equipment installations within assigned modalities, including pre-delivery tasks, delivery of equipment, mechanical installation, electrical hook-up, final calibration and testing and supporting clinical applications training. Coordinate all outside services and service related activities.

3. Assist in the completion of scheduled PMs and repair services. Receive and respond to service calls and manage call accordingly. This would include responding to customer and scheduling service visit. In addition the incumbents will learn how to communicate with customer and know when to ask for assistance as appropriate. Manage all communication aspects of the service event including Service Work Order processes and any other administrative task such as expense report and mileage report submittals.

4. Documents all work performed, maintains parts, supplies, tools, test equipment and technical literature by completing service reports and supplemental productivity documentation in an accurate and timely manner.…
