AS400 Administrator

Our client, is seeking a AS400 /IBM i Infrastructure Analyst to join their team. As a AS400 /IBM i Infrastructure Analyst, you will be part of the IT Operations team supporting system administration and infrastructure management.

** Pay Range:** $55-$60 per hour

** What's the Job?*
* + Manage and maintain IBM i (AS400) systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.

+ Develop and implement AS400 programming solutions using RPG, CL, and SQL.

+ Perform system performance tuning and troubleshooting to resolve issues efficiently.

+ Coordinate system backups, recovery processes, and security protocols to safeguard data integrity.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system modernization and integration efforts.

** What's Needed?*
* + Extensive experience with IBM i (AS400) systems administration and management.

+ Proficiency in AS400 programming languages such as RPG, CL, and SQL.

+ Solid understanding of IBM System architecture and infrastructure components.

Experience with system performance tuning, troubleshooting, and job scheduling.

+ Knowledge of backup/recovery tools, security best practices, and compliance standards for IBM i environments.
