We are seeking a highly skilled Azure Infrastructure & Security Engineer to join our team. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to strengthen and scale our client's Microsoft Azure environment. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with a strong grasp of both infrastructure and security; someone who can provide hands-on technical expertise, think strategically about emerging technologies, and jump in to resolve critical issues at any hour.
Your role:
- Design, implement, and maintain Azure security architecture across network, compute, and storage layers.
- Lead the execution of security strategies, ensuring compliance, resilience, and best practices within the Azure ecosystem.
- Collaborate with engineering and leadership teams to evaluate and integrate new Microsoft products and services.
- Provide strategic analysis of upcoming Azure features and determine fit for enterprise adoption.
- Support troubleshooting and incident resolution, including after-hours critical escalations.
- Build secure, scalable, and reliable cloud infrastructure solutions with an emphasis on automation and performance.
What you've got:
- Proven experience as a Microsoft Azure Engineer with a focus on infrastructure and security.
- Prior experience working in a healthcare setting.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture, storage, and compute services within Azure.
- Expertise in security architecture design and implementation, including identity management, access controls, and monitoring.
- Hands-on experience integrating new cloud services into existing environments.
- Ability to act as a "jack-of-all-trades" technologist-equally comfortable with architecture, strategy, and tactical execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive, "go-getter" mentality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work across diverse technical teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP) strongly preferred.
