LocationPhoenix, AZ. This position is performed onsite at one of the Company’s operational facilities, unless otherwise specified.
CompensationThe hourly pay range for this position is $19.23 – $28.85 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, internal equity, geographic location, and other job‑related factors. This position may also be eligible for shift differentials, overtime pay, or other forms of additional compensation in accordance with applicable Company policies and law.
Employment LogisticsThe IT Equipment Technician I supports the full lifecycle of IT equipment, including receiving, inventory management, deployment, troubleshooting, and disposal. The position ensures that hardware assets are accurately tracked, properly maintained, and effectively deployed to support business operations, while also providing basic technical support to end users.

- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 0–3 years of experience in IT support, inventory, or shipping/receiving
- Basic understanding of IT hardware and peripherals
- Familiarity with inventory or asset tracking systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- Familiarity with ticketing systems (e.g., Service Now)
- Experience in an IT or technical environment preferred
Physical Requirements
- Combination of warehouse and office environment
- Requires standing, lifting, and moving equipment (up to 50 lbs)
- May include extended periods at a workstation
- Receiving, inspection & shipping:
Receive, inspect, and document incoming IT hardware shipments; prepare, package, and ship equipment to internal users and vendors. - Inventory & asset lifecycle tracking:
Maintain accurate inventory records and asset tracking systems; label and track assets throughout lifecycle stages from procurement through disposal; monitor inventory levels and replenish stock as needed. - Returns, disposal & audit support:
Process returned or decommissioned equipment in compliance with data security standards; conduct inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies. - Device setup & configuration:
Set up and configure desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals to support user and business needs. - Troubleshooting, maintenance & user support:
Diagnose and resolve basic hardware and software issues; perform routine maintenance and preventative system checks; provide hands‑on support and guidance to users. - Documentation & IT coordination:
Maintain documentation of inventory, fixes, and procedures; coordinate with IT teams on deployments, repairs, and upgrades. - Workspace organization & policy adherence:
Ensure proper handling, storage, and organization of equipment; maintain a clean, secure workspace and adhere to IT policies.
- Knowledge of asset lifecycle management best practices
- Understanding of data security requirements and hardware disposal compliance
