Position Summary

Performance Tester – Phoenix, AZ (Onsite)
Long Term Contract – $50/hr on C2C

• Design and execute performance, load, stress, soak, and scalability tests.
• Analyze application behavior under peak and normal usage conditions.
• Identify performance bottlenecks in application, database, infrastructure, and network layers.
• Create test plans, test scenarios, scripts, and performance reports.
• Collaborate with development, QA, Dev Ops, and product teams to resolve performance issues.
• Monitor system metrics such as response time, CPU, memory, throughput, and error rates.
• Recommend tuning, optimization, and capacity‑planning improvements.
• Maintain performance testing tools, frameworks, and environments.
• Support performance testing in CI/CD pipelines where applicable.
• Validate fixes and retest after performance improvements.

• Experience in performance testing and analysis.
• Strong understanding of load, stress, endurance, spike, and volume testing.
• Knowledge of web applications, APIs, databases, and distributed systems.
• Experience with tools such as JMeter, Load Runner, Gatling, Neoload, or similar.
• Ability to read and interpret logs, metrics, and monitoring dashboards.
• Familiarity with SQL, scripting, and basic programming concepts.
• Understanding of response times, concurrency, latency, and throughput.
• Good problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Adaptability and flexibility.

• Applied statistics skills: distributions, statistical testing, regression analysis.
