OpenShift Engineer

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled technical professional to ensure the reliability, scalability, and optimal performance of Open Shift clusters within a fast-paced and collaborative environment. Our team is passionate about supporting mission-critical production systems, driving automation, and enabling efficient Dev Ops practices across the organization.

• Administer and maintain Red Hat Open Shift clusters in both production and non-production environments, performing upgrades as necessary.
• Monitor cluster health, manage node scalability, oversee resource optimization, and ensure high availability with minimal downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, networking, containers, and services while participating in 24 x 7 on-call support rotation.
• Develop and maintain shell or Python scripts for automation, and support CI/CD pipelines through tools such as Jenkins, Git Ops, or ArgoCD.

• 5–7 years of hands‑on experience with Red Hat Open Shift (v4.x preferred) and Linux (Red Hat Linux, CoreOS) system administration.
• Expertise in shell scripting, Bash, and/or Python as well as knowledge of Dev Ops tools including Jenkins, Git, Ansible, Helm, Docker, and Git Ops workflows.
• Proven experience providing production support with on-call duties, incident triage, and root cause analysis in customer-facing environments.
• Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified Specialist in Open Shift Administration and/or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA), or equivalent knowledge and experience.
