Key Responsibilities- Design, deploy, and maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms, including Windows Server, Active Directory, Linux (RHEL, Alma Linux, Ubuntu), VMware vSphere/ESXi, and cloud services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
- Architect and support highly available, scalable, and secure hybrid environments across on‑premises and cloud platforms.
- Manage virtualization platforms, performing VM lifecycle management, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
- Implement and maintain infrastructure‑as‑code and automation solutions using Power Shell, Python, Bash, or similar tools.
- Integrate storage and data protection platforms such as Dell EMC, Rubrik, and Veeam to ensure data durability, resilience, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Monitor system health and performance across compute, storage, and network layers; proactively identify and remediate risks.
- Lead root cause analysis and incident resolution for complex, cross‑platform infrastructure issues.
- Develop and execute disaster recovery and business continuity strategies, including backup validation and recovery testing.
- Collaborate with network, security, application, and Dev Ops teams to align infrastructure design with business requirements.
- Create and maintain comprehensive, audit‑ready documentation, including architecture diagrams, SOPs, and operational runbooks.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance, security, and efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing.
- Participate in on‑call support rotation for critical infrastructure services.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5–8+ years of enterprise infrastructure engineering experience in data center and/or cloud‑hosted environments.
- Strong hands‑on experience with Windows, Linux, virtualization platforms, and cloud infrastructure.
- Experience integrating storage and data protection platforms (SAN/NAS, backup, replication, disaster recovery).
- Solid understanding of network fundamentals and security best practices for highly available and fault‑tolerant designs.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Power Shell, Python, or Bash.
- Experience with VMware vSphere/ESXi and cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Certifications such as VMware VCP, Microsoft Azure Administrator, Windows Server, Red Hat RHCSA/RHCE, or AWS/GCP cloud certification.
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools (Ansible, Terraform) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Solar Winds, Datadog).
- Familiarity with enterprise storage and backup platforms (Dell EMC Power Scale, Power Store, Unity) and data protection solutions (Rubrik, Veeam, Comm Vault).
- Knowledge of ITIL processes, change management, and compliance frameworks such as SOX, ISO, and NIST.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and documentation skills.
Annual Salary: $85,000.00 – $ (amount based on office location, relevant experience, skills, and competencies).
