As a Mainframe ZOS System Programmer, you will be part of the Infrastructure Support team supporting mainframe operations and system stability. What's the Job?- Develop, maintain, and support mainframe systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
- Utilize Job Control Language (JCL) to automate and streamline batch processing tasks.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement tuning strategies to enhance efficiency.
- Manage datasets, system utilities, and support subsystems like CICS, DB2, or IMS.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support mainframe modernization initiatives and hybrid/cloud integrations.
- Extensive experience with Job Control Language (JCL) and Mainframe Operating Systems (z/OS).
- Proven background in Mainframe Support and operations, including system performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Deep understanding of system security frameworks such as RACF, ACF2, or Top Secret.
- Experience with TSO/ISPF, dataset management, and system utilities.
- Familiarity with batch scheduling tools like CA-7, Control-M, or similar.
