SAP ECC​/S4 HANA FICO Functional Lead -(Fulltime

This role is designed for experienced SAP professionals with deep expertise in SAP ECC/S4 HANA FICO
, with preference for S/4 Group Reporting and SAP SAC experience. The candidate will lead the design and delivery of complex finance transformation programs, translating strategic business goals into structured, scalable SAP solutions. The role requires a blend of technical and functional mastery, business acumen, deep finance process experience and excellent project and stakeholder management.

• Lead end-to-end design, configuration, process flow creation, and implementation with Agilent IT and implementation partners for complex projects and programs in SAP ECC FICO and S/4
  
  HANA Finance modules, with preference for experience in Group Reporting and SAP SAC.
• Translate broad business strategies, programs, and projects into structured SAP business process flows.
• Serve as the functional/technical lead and finance business process lead for finance-related SAP initiatives, partnering with Agilent IT and implementation partners.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and gather requirements, prototype solution designs for seamless integration across all finance priorities and modules (FI, CO, MM, SD, PS).
• Represent finance stakeholders and compliance requirements (Finance Operations, Tax, Global Trade, Financial Reporting & Consolidation, FP&A, etc.) liaising with IT.
• Drive data migration, cutover planning, and system testing for ECC to S/4 transition.
• Solve complex system and process design issues, ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory standards.
• Mentor junior teammates and lead project teams through delivery and project lifecycle.
• Act as a role model for peers and practice strong Agilent values.
• Engage with senior stakeholders to align priorities and build SAP solutions aligned with business objectives, strategies, and KPIs.
• Maintain a growth mindset, learning, and working through uncertainties and challenges.
• Nice to have: lead Group Reporting transition from legacy systems (preferably Oracle EPM) to S4 HANA Group Reporting, develop and implement best strategies for a successful finance transformation, and lead integration with S/4 HANA, Universal Journal, SAP Fiori Apps, and SAP Analytics Cloud.

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in SAP FICO (ECC and S/4
  
  HANA).
• Deep techno-functional expertise in at least two to three sub-functions of Finance, such as Intercompany, RAR, FA.
• SAP certifications in S/4
  
  HANA Finance and Group Reporting, and preferably SAC.
• Hands‑on and proven experience in current roles on SAP FICO, S/4
  
  HANA, SAP Group Reporting, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
• Experience with R2R, upgrading from Oracle EPM Suite to SAP S4 HANA Group Reporting and SAC.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end business processes across Record‑to‑Report, Procure‑to‑Pay, and Order‑to‑Cash.
• Demonstrated experience in leading global implementations and managing multi‑geo teams.

• Deep functional and technical experience in SAP ECC and S/4
  
  HANA FICO modules.
• Proven experience in Group Reporting and transitioning from legacy systems (highly preferred Oracle EPM) to S4 HANA Group Reporting.
• In‑depth experience in Group Reporting, including consolidation process knowledge, intercompany eliminations, currency translation, data models, and monitoring tools.
• Strong skills in interpreting financial data, troubleshooting consolidation issues, and optimizing workflows.
• Experience leading S4 HANA implementations, upgrades, especially in Group Reporting and finance transformation contexts.
• Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with third‑party integrations.
• Familiarity with SAP security, WRICEF development, and testing frameworks.
• Willingness to work on‑site at Agilent’s Little Falls site in Delaware.
