Dev Ops (Techno-Functional) ( US C & GC ONLY )

Sonsoft, Inc. is a USA‑based corporation duly organized under the laws of the Commonwealth of Georgia. Sonsoft Inc. is growing at a steady pace, specializing in the fields of Software Development, Software Consultancy and Information Technology Enabled Services.

• Lead the development, communication, and implementation of the organization’s Dev Ops capabilities, including Continuous Integration, Continuous Test Automation, infrastructure management, continuous delivery pipelines, and application monitoring.
• Demonstrate success in building Dev Ops best practices.
• Possess strong hands‑on experience with Dev Ops automation and monitoring tools.
• Design and implement continuous delivery platforms.
• Create new and improve existing workflows within the agile software development lifecycle, including software engineering tools enhancements, continuous integration and build processes, and continuous delivery.
• Manage multiple application support and maintenance, test environment management and service delivery projects.
• Work directly with clients and teams by leading and being accountable for the design and delivery of advanced Dev Ops capabilities.
• Apply knowledge of Agile and Lean practices.
• Provide technical leadership for a team of software and Dev Ops engineers through communication, documentation, and examples.
• Design, code, test, debug, and document software that enables Dev Ops in an agile environment for use by the development team.
• Lead the execution of technical tasks for enterprise‑level clients.
• Lead and win client efforts and client‑facing pre‑sales.
• Lead a project team of consultants on simultaneous client projects.
• Learn quickly in a dynamic environment.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Configuration and deployment tools such as Chef, Puppet, Ansible, etc.
• Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, TFS, Teamcity, Bamboo, etc.
• Build scripting like MSBuild, ANT, NANT, MAVEN, Gradle, WIX Installer, Install Shield, etc.
• Version control systems such as Git, TFS, SVN, Perforce, including installation, configuration and administration.
• Scripting languages like Python, Perl, Bash, Power Shell, and other related languages.
• Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Nagios.
• Application servers – IIS, Tomcat, JBoss, Web Logic, Web Sphere, etc.
• AWS services – EC2, ECS, S3, Elastic File System, Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, RDS.
• Cloud and virtualization technologies such as Docker, AWS, VMWare, Open Stack.
• PaaS-oriented development & implementations such as Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes.
• Provisioning, deployment, monitoring, and scaling of large hosted platforms in a microservice environment.
• Operating systems – Linux (Red Hat, CentOS, Suse, etc.) & Windows.

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Three years of progressive experience in the specialty can be considered in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 11 years of experience in Information Technologies.
