Junior Infrastructure Business Analyst / Project Delivery Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6–12 Month Contract (Strong Potential for Extension)
Schedule: 100% On-Site Monday-Friday
OverviewA leading enterprise organization within the financial services industry is seeking a Junior Infrastructure Business Analyst / Project Delivery Analyst to support a portfolio of enterprise infrastructure initiatives.
This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career IT professional looking to grow into project delivery, business analysis, or IT project management. Working alongside experienced Project Managers, Infrastructure Engineers, Architects, and Cybersecurity teams, you'll help coordinate projects, maintain documentation, track deliverables, and support the successful execution of critical infrastructure initiatives.
This is not a software development Business Analyst role. Instead, the focus is on supporting enterprise infrastructure projects involving networks, servers, cloud platforms, cybersecurity, identity management, and other core IT technologies.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, eager to learn, comfortable working in a structured environment, and takes pride in following established processes while delivering high-quality work.
What You’ll Do- Support Project Managers and senior Business Analysts with the execution of enterprise infrastructure projects.
- Assist with project planning, scheduling, and coordination of technical resources.
- Document business requirements, meeting notes, project updates, action items, and project deliverables.
- Track project milestones, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Coordinate meetings with technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Follow up on action items and ensure project deliverables remain on schedule.
- Assist with change management documentation and project governance activities.
- Maintain project documentation in accordance with PMO standards.
- Prepare status reports, dashboards, presentations, and executive summaries.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, cloud, and operations teams to support project execution.
- Learn enterprise project delivery methodologies while supporting multiple concurrent initiatives.
- 2–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Project Coordinator, IT Coordinator, Project Administrator, Technical Analyst, or similar role supporting IT projects.
- Basic understanding of enterprise IT infrastructure concepts such as:
- Networks
- Servers
- Cloud computing
- Cybersecurity
- Active Directory or Identity Management
- End User Computing
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Comfortable working within structured processes and established procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- Experience supporting infrastructure or technology projects.
- Financial services, banking, or other highly regulated industry experience.
- Exposure to project management methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall.
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, SharePoint, Azure Dev Ops, Microsoft Project, or similar collaboration tools.
- Exposure to audit, compliance, governance, or regulatory environments.
