Security Engineer – SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM)
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85054 (Hybrid – 3 Days Onsite)

About the RoleWe are seeking a Security Engineer with experience in Security Posture Management, SaaS Security, or SSPM platforms to support enterprise SaaS security initiatives. This role focuses on onboarding SaaS applications, integrating them into security monitoring platforms, identifying security risks, and partnering with application teams to drive remediation efforts.
The team is open to candidates with broader Security Posture Management experience who can quickly learn and adapt to SaaS‑specific security environments.
Required- 3+ years securing SaaS applications within an enterprise environment.
- Hands‑on experience with an SSPM platform (App Omni, Adaptive Shield, Obsidian, Valence, Grip, Palo Alto SSPM, or similar).
- Experience onboarding and configuring SaaS applications within SSPM solutions.
- Knowledge of SaaS security posture management, configuration assessment, permission models, policy drift detection, and remediation.
- Ability to investigate and resolve SaaS security vulnerabilities and misconfigurations.
- Background supporting enterprise Infosecurity programs.
- Experience with Palo Alto's SSPM capabilities within Cortex/XSIAM ecosystem.
- Experience securing Microsoft 365, Salesforce, Service Now, Workday, Slack, Zoom, Git Hub, Box, or similar enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Knowledge of SaaS governance and identity/security controls.
- Support onboarding and security review of new SaaS vendors and applications.
- Integrate SaaS platforms with Security Posture Management (SSPM) tools.
- Configure monitoring, security visibility, and risk assessment capabilities.
- Establish continuous security oversight across SaaS environments.
- Collaborate with application teams, security teams, and vendors throughout the integration lifecycle.
- Validate connectivity, permissions, and security configurations within SSPM platforms.
- Assist with cloud and SaaS security integrations to improve visibility and governance.
- Review security findings generated by SSPM and security posture management tools.
- Analyze configuration gaps, security risks, and compliance concerns.
- Communicate findings to application owners and business stakeholders.
- Explain identified risks, business impact, and recommended remediation steps.
- Partner with application teams to drive issue resolution and improve security posture.
- Track remediation activities through closure.
