EDI Analyst
The EDI Analyst will support the implementation and maintenance of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) systems and processes, partnering with vendors, Accounting, Pricebook, and IT teams. This role plays a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient data exchange, contributing to streamlined operations and enhanced business performance.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate vendor setup for EDI invoicing across the U.S. and Canada, collaborating with Accounting, Pricebook, and IT teams to ensure seamless integration.
- Advise on technical specifications, test and certify new vendor implementations, troubleshoot issues, and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to address process issues, manage testing schedules, and support go-live activities.
- Configure the electronic invoice processing system to meet the needs of vendors and stores during onboarding and integration.
- Assist in the testing, and certification of program changes to the electronic invoice processing system, ensuring compliance with change management standards.
- Provide technical specifications to vendors and communicate technical advice related to incorrect configuration of data included in EDI formats.
- Troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues, including error processing, data discrepancies, and system anomalies reported by IT, Stores Accounting, or AP teams.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/ or information systems an asset. 3 to 5+ years of relevant experience in Pricebook, Accounting, IT, or EDI-related roles preferred.
- Ability to effectively communicate across multiple disciplines (Accounting, Pricebook, and IT), tailoring messaging to suit the audience.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in managing timelines and delivering high-quality work under deadlines.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of PDI Enterprise (preferred).
- Bilingual proficiency in French/English (an asset).
