Technical Project Manager
The Technical Project Manager is an integral member of the organization, responsible for leading the delivery of special projects and Enterprise Top Programs (ETPs) while ensuring strong execution discipline, risk-informed decision making, and high-quality outcomes across technical teams. This role serves as a critical connector across TRIS and Enterprise Cloud (EC) teams, driving alignment, transparency, and shared ownership of outcomes. The Technical Project Manager ensures projects are planned, tracked, and delivered effectively while proactively managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
You will work closely with TRIS, EC, Engineering, Architecture, and Product stakeholders to coordinate delivery efforts across multiple teams. This position demands a highly organized, execution-focused leader with strong technical acumen, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage ambiguity while driving results in a fast-paced enterprise environment.
- Program Delivery & Execution
- Lead and drive the successful delivery of special projects and Enterprise Top Programs (ETPs) for TRIS teams, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives, timelines, and quality expectations.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones, and dependencies across multiple technical teams.
- Ensure project execution aligns with established delivery frameworks, engineering standards, and risk-informed practices.
- Track and report progress against commitments, ensuring transparency and accountability across stakeholders.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Integration
- Partner closely with TRIS and Enterprise Cloud (EC) teams to strengthen cross-team collaboration, communication, and shared ownership of delivery outcomes.
- Act as a primary liaison between TRIS and EC stakeholders to coordinate execution, resolve dependencies, and enable integrated delivery.
- Support teams by removing impediments, improving delivery workflows, and promoting best practices for execution and collaboration.
- Risk Management & Governance
- Identify, assess, and proactively manage project risks and issues; drive mitigation strategies and escalate as appropriate.
- Facilitate project governance activities including status reporting, risk reviews, dependency management, and executive readouts.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying lessons learned and opportunities to enhance project delivery effectiveness.
Skills & Experience
- Project Management:
Demonstrated experience managing complex technical projects in an enterprise environment. - Technical SDLC Acumen:
Strong understanding of software development and infrastructure delivery life cycles, including dependencies across engineering, security, and platform teams. - Cross-Functional Leadership:
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and managing delivery across multiple work streams. - Risk & Scope Management:
Ability to identify and manage technical and delivery risks, balancing quality, scope, and timelines. - Communication:
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience facilitating collaboration across diverse teams. - Methodologies:
Experience with Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery methodologies. - Documentation:
Ability to develop and maintain project documentation including plans, timelines, RAID logs, and status reports. - Adaptability:
Comfort working in ambiguous environments while driving clarity and execution discipline. - Enterprise Programs:
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise initiatives or strategic programs is preferred.
Educational & Certification Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field; or equivalent experience. - Certifications:
Project management certifications (PMP, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or similar) are a plus.
