Cloud Infrastructure Automations Engineer

As an IT Engineer III you'll demonstrate proficiency with particular tools and products responsible for supporting the organization's IT infrastructure, data or applications. You will support senior engineers in development and support activities as well as project tasks directed to you, working independently with minimal direction. In this role you will contribute to team dialogue and activities in a collaborative environment.
You will work collaboratively to build scalable automation frameworks that reduce manual intervention, enhance reliability, and align with enterprise security and compliance requirements.
- Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, software and hardware.
- Implement and configure new technologies to improve IT operations.
- Monitor system performance and ensure the security and integrity of IT systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system configurations and procedures.
- Working knowledge of SDLC Framework.
- Experience in designing and developing automation and automation infrastructure.
- Experience in enterprise networks and enterprise technologies.
- Experience in development languages, i.e. Python and Power Shell.
- Experience in developing automations in Azure with Azure VMs and serverless platforms like function apps.
- Working knowledge of ITIL practices, including incident, change, and problem management.
- Experience with Data & Network Security tools, i.e. Varonis, Rapid7/Nexpose, Data Dog and Elastic.
- Experience with Azure Dev Ops and Azure.
- Experience with Network File Shares and NTFS permissions.
- 3+ years of related experience in IT Operations Support, Application Development, IT Automation or similar fields.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field.
- Intermediate knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
- Intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices.
- Intermediate to advanced organizational and interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners.
- Additional knowledgeable in governance patterns tied to intake, technical reviews and architectural compliance.
- Intermediate to advanced experience with cloud technologies (e.g. AWS, Azure), pipeline management tools like Azure Dev Ops or Jira, and working on/managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills.
