Responsibilities- Test Planning and Strategy:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and design comprehensive test plans.
- Develop and implement effective testing strategies for Salesforce applications.
- Test Case Design and Execution:
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases based on business requirements and user stories.
- Execute test cases, document results, and manage defects to closure.
- Automation Testing:
- Utilize automation tools and frameworks to design and implement automated test scripts for Salesforce applications.
- Work towards achieving a high level of test automation coverage to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Regression Testing:
- Conduct regular regression testing to ensure that new developments do not negatively impact existing functionality.
- Collaborate with developers to identify and fix defects and issues.
- Performance Testing:
- Perform performance testing on Salesforce applications to ensure they meet scalability and performance requirements.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with development teams, product owners, and other stakeholders to understand the project scope and requirements.
- Clearly communicate testing progress, issues, and results to the project team.
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and trends in Salesforce testing.
- Identify areas for process improvement and contribute to the enhancement of the overall testing process.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 4 to 6 years of experience in quality assurance and testing.
- Strong experience in testing Salesforce applications, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other custom solutions.
- Proficient in creating and executing test cases for both manual and automated testing.
- Hands-on experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium, Apex Test Framework, or similar.
- Solid understanding of Salesforce configuration and customization.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, or similar) are a plus.
