Location: 100% Remote

Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 months, strong conversion track)

Compensation: Up to $60/hour (DOE), converting 90k-120k

We are seeking a highly experienced Vista / Viewpoint ERP Administrator & Developer to join a growing team. This role is a hybrid of administration, development, and reporting, requiring deep expertise in Vista environments, SQL development, and enterprise reporting.

This individual will serve as a key partner to Accounting, Finance, HR, and Operations, ensuring the ERP system is optimized, scalable, and aligned to business needs. This is a hands‑on role combining system ownership, report development, and end‑user support.

• Administer and maintain Viewpoint Vista ERP, including configuration, upgrades, and system performance.
• Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support, troubleshooting errors and optimizing workflows.
• Manage user roles, permissions, and security controls.
• Monitor system performance and ensure reliability and data integrity.

• Design and develop SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and integrations.
• Build and maintain reports using Crystal Reports and SSRS.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable reporting solutions.
• Optimize database performance and reporting efficiency.
• Customize workflows, forms, and modules within Vista.
• Lead or support integrations with third‑party systems (HRIS, payroll, etc.).
• Recommend and implement enhancements to improve operational efficiency.

• Train end users on Vista functionality and best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation, SOPs, and reporting guides.
• Support onboarding of new users and rollout of new features.

• Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, HR, and Operations on reporting, compliance, and system usage.
• Support year‑end financial processes and reporting requirements.

• 3+ years of hands‑on Vista by Viewpoint administration experience.
• Strong SQL skills including T‑SQL, stored procedures, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Crystal Reports and SQL‑based reporting tools.
• Proven experience supporting ERP systems in a production environment.
• Comfortable working directly with business stakeholders (especially Accounting/Finance).
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.

• Background in construction or similar industry.
• Experience with SSRS, SSIS, or Power BI.
• Experience with ERP integrations and data migrations.
• Prior consulting or multi‑client support experience.
• Accounting or finance domain exposure.

• Acts as the go‑to Vista expert across the organization.
• Delivers accurate, timely reporting solutions.
• Improves system performance and user adoption.
• Balances support, development, and strategic enhancement work.
