Job Summary

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and all of the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that ensure our customers have continual access to the innovation they rely on. This position is a Data Center Technician responsible for troubleshooting operating systems, hardware, network, and server components, maintaining documentation, and executing small projects.

• Maintain and repair server rack installation, hardware break‑fix, and network issues;
• Resolve troubleshooting of operating system, server hardware, and network components;
• Act as the primary contact for internal customers (network, systems, software, database engineers) and external partners (hardware vendors, contractors);
• Work with service level agreements on directed workflow tickets and emergency situations;
• Execute small projects independently and collaborate with manager for larger local projects;
• Provide technical troubleshooting and documentation to junior staff.

Position may include rotating shifts (3, 4, or 5 day/night work weeks) with travel up to 10% of the time and is located at a separate site.

Requires a US citizen with an active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.

Location:

Phoenix, AZ – 33.00–58.00 USD hourly.

• High school diploma or equivalent, or A+, CND, Network+, or Security+;
• Current, active TS/SCI US Government Security Clearance.

• 1+ year of experience in Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, or Data Center Operations.
