Key Responsibilities- Install, configure, administer, and maintain IBM i (AS/400) systems.
- Perform IBM i operating system upgrades, PTF management, and system maintenance.
- Monitor and optimize system performance, storage utilization, and capacity.
- Configure and manage user profiles, security policies, and access controls.
- Support backup, recovery, business continuity, and disaster recovery initiatives.
- Manage job queues, subsystems, output queues, and workload performance.
- Troubleshoot operating system, hardware, and application-related issues.
- Support application development and deployment teams.
- Implement automation and operational best practices.
- Maintain technical documentation, standards, and procedures.
- Participate in production support and on-call rotations.
5+ years of experience supporting IBM i / AS/400 environments.
