Responsibilities

  • In addition to supervisory and coaching duties for the LOA Systems team, this position is responsible for project planning and prioritization of projects.
  • The role is responsible for the data integrity, accurate and efficient operation, and functions of the Matrix Leave System(s), while adhering to Matrix Best Practices.
  • Project plan and staff for new client implementations and ongoing client leave maintenance.
  • Assist in communicating issues/escalations to Account Managers and/or Implementation Managers and work towards resolution with them.
  • Create new client profiles, configuring policies, loading logos, and correspondence for new clients as well as existing clients adding new policies.
  • Troubleshoot issues reported via work orders.
  • Work as a liaison with Sedgwick for issues as they arise.
  • Test system enhancements prior to roll out, communicating enhancement roll outs, develop and provide training materials to the training department to support new functionality and processes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience required.
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a LOA Systems Specialist.
  • PHR designation preferred.
  • Experience in Superuser functions.
  • Professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, plus math skills required.
  • Ability to gather, analyze and organize data to make educated decisions.
  • Ability to identify critical issues and exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to think in an analytical manner for troubleshooting and program design.
  • Must have an aptitude for logic and systems programming.
  • Ability to Travel:
    Up to 10%
