Responsibilities

  • Inputs data into the equipment system and ensures data integrity. Sets up new assets, updates information and disposes assets across all PCL districts.
  • Routes Authorization for Expenditures (AFE)/Authorization for Disposals (AFD) forms through approval matrix.
  • Solicits, reviews, and analyzes time-entry receipts for all PCL districts including troubleshooting and fixing errors.
  • Supports and educates districts on time-entry processes.
  • Maintains electronic and hard-copy files for assets and customs.
  • Creates reports as required.
  • Assists with mid-year and year-end reporting cycles (market valuation, asset budget, rate review).
  • Supports the analysis and interpretation of asset administration rate and billing discrepancies.
  • Knowledge of standard, project, and competitive rates.
  • Supports the review of and management of project rates.
  • Develops and maintains strong, customer-focused relationships with all stakeholders and key decision makers.
  • Assist with organizing meetings and or special events including arranging for catering locations and distribution of information as needed.
  • Values and models the solution provider and profitability culture.
Qualifications
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-management skills to plan organize and prioritize tasks with conflicting deadlines and high attention to detail.
  • Ability to learn independently and stay current with new technologies.
  • Ability to understand and employ company specifications, methods, and procedures.
  • Professional and service orientated approach.
  • General construction knowledge pertaining to equipment and tools.
  • Knowledge of E1 equipment software and other company wide software applications (MS suite, Strategy, Report Now, etc).
  • Ability to understand basic financial concepts and accounting principles.
  • Ability to react to changing deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work independently or in a team environment.
  • Ability to develop and maintain strong customer focus and foster relationships with stakeholders.
  • Basic negotiation skills and awareness of when to use them.
  • Basic ability to facilitate conflict resolution internally and externally.
  • Basic ability to process, analyze, file and maintain data records.
