We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Data Network Telecom Specialist. This is a contract-to-hire position with the potential to transition to full-time employment. • Four (4) years of experience in the installation and maintenance of digital computer systems and peripheral equipment or telephone station equipment and related systems.
• Alternatively, two (2) years of experience as a Lead Cable Technician.
• Security clearance is required.
• Local candidates only; must be eligible to convert to full-time employment.

• Education or technical training in electronics, telecommunications systems, or digital computer systems from a recognized institution may substitute for one (1) year of required experience.
• Certified Fiber Optic Technician (CFOT) certification.
• BICSI certification.

• Coordinate services such as repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance with contractors, vendors, and supported agencies.
• Manage new, upgrade, and repair projects related to DPS network equipment, including supervision of contractor and vendor resources.
• Install, maintain, repair, and inventory various communication and electronic equipment, including routers, switches, and security systems.
• Install and test telecommunications and electrical wiring and cabling, ensuring proper connections between electronic equipment.
