Position Summary
The Business Systems Analyst –serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. This role is responsible for gathering business requirements, developing business specifications, supporting functional design reviews, and ensuring successful delivery of integrated solutions that support quoting, pricing, product management, supplier management, registration, and compliance processes.
The analyst will play a key role in the integration of enterprise systems and the CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) tool into core business processes while ensuring high-quality system functionality through testing, validation, and stakeholder collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Develop detailed Business Specifications (BS) and review Functional Design Specifications (FDS) for accuracy and completeness.
• Facilitate requirement workshops, stakeholder interviews, and process-mapping sessions.
• Provide business sign-off for specifications, design documents, and solution deliverables.
• Complete detailed data mapping specifications.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Write and execute test scripts to ensure alignment with business requirements.
• Participate in and lead Business Analyst testing activities.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Validate end-to-end functionality of integrated business processes.
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution.
• Coordinate testing efforts across business and technical teams.

Process Improvement & Documentation

• Analyze current-state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Develop future-state process maps and workflow documentation.
• Ensure standardization and optimization of business processes across integrated platforms.

Stakeholder Collaboration

• Act as a trusted advisor between business users, IT teams, and external vendors.
• Facilitate project meetings, requirement reviews, and testing sessions.
• Communicate project status, risks, issues, and recommendations to the project manager.
• Support change management and user adoption initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of Business Systems Analyst or Business Analyst experience supporting enterprise applications and integrations.
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications.
• Experience supporting system integration projects and cross-functional business processes.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business process analysis and process mapping.
• Experience with SIT, UAT, and business validation testing.
• Proven ability to work with business stakeholders, technical teams, and third-party vendors.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
