As a Data Architect within PNC's Data and Automation organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh-PA, Strongsville-OH, Birmingham-AL, Dallas-TX, Denver-CO or Phoenix-AZ.
- Administer and support enterprise Teradata database environments, ensuring high availability, performance, security, and reliability for critical business applications and data warehouse solutions.
- Monitor database health, troubleshoot production incidents, optimize SQL performance, and resolve data and application issues to meet establish service level agreements (SLA).
- Support ETL and batch processing by managing Teradata utilities, analyzing job failures, and collaborating with application development and infrastructure teams to ensure successful data processing
- Implement database changes, manage user access and security, perform performance tuning, and maintain database objects in accordance with change management and operational best practices.
- Partner with cross functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automate routine administrative tasks leveraging AI agent, and provide technical guidance to enhance database performance and operational efficiency.

** Job Description*
* + Designs, develops and optimizes data warehouses, with flexible and scalable data and ETL architecture, to support business users and Business Intelligence (BI) applications.
+ Analyzes business intelligence data and makes recommendations for data warehouse growth and integration an application/business function.
+ Works with IT and business customers to capture requirements for designing the data warehouse architecture.
+ Provides support and technical guidance to ensure the solutions are aligned with the architecture and framework.
+ Leads and consults on the implementation and integration of data warehouses; ensures the solution meets organizational quality and integrity standards.
